Methodology: How Virtual Classroom works

Virtual Classroom has 2 aspects:
a] Theory
b] Practice

As you can see from the web site, the theory for most lessons is open the public.
But as with any course of study, in order to gain proficiency,
students need hands on experience working with the material; hence the practice.
For those wishing to participate in Virtual Classroom, each lesson has its own exercises designed to gently lead you into deeper levels of understanding and experience. Once you sign on as a student you will receive links to the exercises for each lesson.

As you can see from these examples, the exercises gradually deepen your knowledge and experience of Vedic Astrology as you get progressively more hands on experience working with your own horoscope.

T
he importance of the shared learning environment lies at the heart of Virtual Classroom. As a student, in order to successfully fulfill the practical requirements for each lesson, you will complete a 2 stage learning process.

Shared Learning Environment:
2 stage learning process

[1]

First you will discuss your responses to the exercise with other students via the Student Forum. Either post your questions, doubts or queries, or if you’re confident you have a handle on what is required for the exercise, post a rough draft of your response for others to comment on and learn from. You should have student feedback within 48 hours.
Rough drafts must be posted on the Student Forum for a minimum of 7 days.
Please note: many advanced students participate as tutors in the Student Forum
Please also note that even as a beginning student you are encouraged to offer feedback on the responses of other students

Then, after getting the necessary feedback on the exercise from other students via the Student Forum, you will post your formal response on the Tutorial Forum. This formal response or final draft of the exercise will be evaluated by Ganesh and you will receive feed back from him within 72 hours.
Please note: this final draft evaluation from Ganesh is not absolute, if you feel that with the benefit of hind sight you now have a clearer understanding and wish to resubmit your final draft for formal evaluation by Ganesh- this is also fine.

In this way students Students enjoy the benefits of a shared learning environment. Students learn from other more advanced students and also have the opportunity to share their own unique insights with others. All this is closely monitored by Ganesh. After interacting among themselves, students then interact directly with Ganesh and receive his feedback and guidance.
