First Time Users

1] After arriving at the index page at the following link: Student Forum
Click on the "Register" icon at the top of the page on the right hand side
2] This will transfer you to the page displaying the "Registration Agreement Terms". After agreeing to these terms you will need to choose your "Username"*
Then supply you "Email address"
Then choose and confirm you "Password".

Use this username and password each subsequent time you log in to the Student Forum.

After logging in

You will be returned to the index page
Inside the first blue striped box at the top of the page click on Astrosalon Student Forum
Once inside the Forum, click on "New Topic" Link to post your exercise responses

If you are giving feed back to a student who has already posted their exercise responses
Click on the "Post Reply" link so that your feedback is grouped under the same topic heading as the original exercise response

Safeguarding your work
Please also note that while working on you exercise responses it is a good idea to create your document in a word pad or note pad [text editor] file. Once the document is complete you can save this file for your own records and copy and paste your work directly into the message area of the student forum.
If you create your document directly in the message area of the student forum, there will be times when you need to refer to other areas of the web site and you can run the risk of not being able to return to the forum message area. In this way you can lose your precious work.

Please remember to log out of the Student Forum when you are finished
