Day of Ganga Dashara to bestow purity in life Ganga is famous for the power of purification. On this day of “Ganga Dashara,” which occurs only once a year, the specific impulse of Creative Intelligence which bestows purity in the life of individuals, families or nations is most accessible and lively in Nature. Purity in mind, body, behavior and relationships is the basis for Support of Nature and makes it easy to accomplish one’s desires. The special quality of this day is expressed in the word “Dashara” which means “removing the ten principal sins.”
