There are 4 Navaratris each year [also known as the 9 days/nights of Mother Divine]. The coming Navaratri [March 23 - April 1] is dedicated to Lord Raama or Raam Raj, Vishnu avatar. Hero of the Ramayana, Raama is one of the great incarnations of God (Avatars). He took birth in order to destroy the demon Ravana and restore dharma or life in accord with natural law. His life was a perfect example of the most noble principles and ethics lived on a daily basis. Raama is an aspect of Maha Vishnu - the principle of maintenance, so vasant navaratri is an excellent time to cultivate and enliven the principal of maintenance (support) in our lives. It is the ideal time to strengthen the value of action in accord with natural law. Accordingly, this is a highly auspicious time to perform yagyas for career & study & to promote harmony in relationships. On the planetary level, Vasant Navaratri is a highly effective time to perform yagya for Budha [Mercury] and Guru [Jupiter]

#1 Goddess Temple & Centre for tantric learning & experience

Kaamakhya temple is famed throughout India as the birth place of Kaama Deva, God of Love.
Kaameshwari Devi - the patron Goddess of the temple is held to be an aspect of Kali. This temple is renowned for bestowing the gifts of bhukti (pleasure) and mukti (liberation/enlightenment). It is widely considered as India's greatest centre for Tantric learning & experience. Out of all 51 Shakti Peeths (primary temples of the Divine Mother), Kaamakhya is universally held the most powerful and auspicious: number 1.

For thousands of years, pandits, tantrics and yogis have come to Kaamakhya to attain perfection (siddhis) in the performance of their saadhana (spiritual practice) and yagyas. One of the essential principles of tantric philosophy is that true knowledge is deeper than what our senses perceive: things are not as they appear. From the orthodox perspective, Enlightenment (liberation/mukti) and pleasure (bhukti) are held to be mutually exclusive. However, integration of life is one of the great gifts of Kaamakhya: divine union through the fullness of our humanity.

Saraswathi Puja Navaratri: January 2012
Out of 51 Shakthi Peeths (primary temples of Divine Mother), Kaamakhya is widely considered the greatest, most powerful & most illustrious. For thousands of years, it has been a mecca to those desirous of attaining perfection in their spiritual practice (saadhana) and in their yagyas. We are fortunate to have good connection with the temple administrators. And we are delighted to be churning this most sublime and powerful influence & enlivening in your life through the navaratri yagya program

Navaratri Background
Goddess Durga slaying Mahishaasura the buffalo demon

Navaratri [nava = 9 ratri = night] or 9 nights of mother divine is a time of cleansing and purification and evolution throughout nature. It is a time when the tide of Sattva or coherence or wholeness of life rises to purge the fragmented, imperfect values of natural law. In vedic mythology it is represented as the time when Shakti [the quintessential power of the universe], champion of the gods, is victorious over the demons. It is a time for light to triumph over darkness.

Harnessing nature's momentum through yagya

Navaratri is also known as 'Durga Puja': 9 day festival celebrating Durga: the Divine Mother -the wholeness or collectedness of God's feminine aspect. Yagyas are traditionally performed during the 9 days to harness the momentum of this highly auspicious window of opportunity. Navaratri or Durga puja yagyas serve to direct this lively flow of nature's organizing power into our daily life in order to safe guard and enhance our progress & evolution and also to achieve specific goals.

The green light was given to J's new show (after saraswathi yagya) - discussions about giving it the go-ahead had earlier stalled with indications that it would not be commissioned. Production is now underway and all is going smoothly.

Thought you might like to know that J's new show (which we had the (saraswathi) yagya done for in July) has consistently been number one for the last couple of months. Everyone agrees it is punching about its weight. Very cool.
All the best

Hi Ganesh
It was probably the strongest influence I have ever felt in the performance of a yagya. Meaning, I felt immediately when it began every day... Meditations were profound with deep transcending.. a whole new level of experience.

Dear Ganesh
Things are now much calmer. But it certainly has been a rocky few months.
We did sell the house ... now after all that has happened in the world - the stock market collapse etc - I feel that we were very fortunate, the financial context is much clearer now.
All is well.

On the cosmic scale - all is as you predicted. The emotional upheavals have been unrelenting but I felt very supported all along the way - an island of calmness in the midst of the storm.
So in brief, it's all on track - all is as it should be. So thanks again.
Your advice was wonderful and the yagyas worked.

"What a yagya. I think my whole physiology is changing... I think this must be the best yagya ever...The impacts keep on coming. I can feel the pundits coming and going. It is amazing...Can you book me a place for next year?"
PR - Melbourne, Australia

On the days of the yagyas, I devoted myself to saadhana (spiritual practice)- actually I tried to "do" saadhana but could "do" nothing except lie in the saadhana room in a semi-swoon, feeling like I was being "done". The energy was so powerful I was totally unable to function, so I surrendered to it. I suppose this is normal.
I hope you are well and everything is shining in your world.
