Vedic astrology or ayurvedic astrology or jyotish is the traditional astrology of the ancient vedic civilization of India. It is held to be the eyes of the Ved. Ved is the source of yoga, ayurved, eastern philosophy, spirituality & mysticism. Indeed the vedic literature is the oldest record of human experience known to man. Vedic astrology enlivens eternal laws of nature within the fabric of our daily lives. It is a pure form of astrology: the same as practised thousands of years ago.

Ganesh & Pundits at Berola anusthana outside New Delhi March 2005
Ganesh has been exploring Vedic science for 30 years. He spent 5 years in the U.S. studying & serving as a teacher & senior administrator in a highly successful, international laboratory school based on principles of holistic spiritual development. He was then initiated into Vedic astrology during a 3 year stay in his Guru's ashram where he worked closely with traditional Brahmin astrologers (jyotish pundits). He has developed astrological software, published a sidereal ephemeris, appeared on radio & taught more than 100 students in classes & seminars. Immersed in full time study & practice of Vedic astrology for 15 years, in the last 8 years he has built a successful astrological consulting practice & given more than 10,000 consultations. Unlike many astro academics & armchair experts, his esoteric insight into the workings of nature is constantly subject to the acid-test of the life experiences of his diverse client-base. Integral to his work as an astrologer, he financially supports & maintains strong ties with several groups of Brahmin pundits of the ancient vedic tradition in India where he travels extensively each year.
